Rainbow Belts 13 is our loudest wash of the season and it cures the driest. Gummy candy and sour citrus come off the jar before the lid clears; the creamy gas shows up on the exhale. This one nucleates into a pale straw sugar rather than a budder — granular, sandy at the edges, scooping without stringing. Pressed at 185°F to protect the linalool.
IE-053 is a heavy resin producer and the wash reflects it — 4.6% flower to rosin, high for a candy-terp cut. Whole-plant fresh frozen, stacked screens down to 73μ, freeze-dried under vacuum before anything touched a plate. Pressed at 185°F to protect the linalool, which is the first thing to go if you chase yield with heat. Four days of cold cure at 60°F let it nucleate all the way to a dry sugar.
Gummy candy first — the sour-sugar coating, not the fruit filling. Mid-palate turns citric and a little tart, sour belts more than orange juice, with a berry haze drifting behind it. The exhale is the gas: creamy, round, and heavier than the opening led you to expect. The sugar texture makes it read cleaner off the banger than a wet budder does, but it hits just as loud.
Comes on warm and sits just above the body rather than in it. The plateau is level and social — Zkittlez roundness on one side, Oz Kush weight on the other, neither one taking over. The tail is slow and unhurried, an hour or more before it fades out. Built for a long evening with people in the room, not a couch and a timer.
